Job Overview

To assist with all Tender / Project Risk activities, promoting risk awareness within the company and ensuring that Project Team / Client requirements are achieved.

Working within the Risk Management Department, assisting with Risk Analysis, Knowledge Management and Project Assurance.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist the Risk Manager in evaluating the risk requirements of the Tender / Project and develop the Risk Management Plan in accordance with the contract requirements.
Organise Risk Assessment activities within the organisation.
Set up and maintain Project Specific Risk Registers. Monitoring all mitigating actions.
Perform risk analysis in accordance with the risk management plan.
Monitor and report Risk related activities to the Project Manager / Client.
Represent the Risk Management Department at Project Risk meetings as required.
Maintain auditable records of Project Risk deliverables.
Organise and Facilitate Risk Review sessions with Project Manager / Client and Project team as / when required.
Upon request of the Risk Manager, participate in risk tools, procedures and development of the Risk Management Department.

Experience Required

Awareness of the Oil & Gas Industry.
Technically proficient in Hazard Identification / Risk Assessment.
Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office knowledge of VBA.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Articulate and able to express abstract concepts.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Proficient facilitation and presentation skills.
Ability to handle large amounts of data from disparate sources efficiently and accurately.
Highly committed / motivated individual.
Excellent organisational skills, ability to set priority actions and handle a high workload.
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Business Degree incorporating Risk Management preferred.
Knowledge & or Information Management Degree preferred.
Mathematics degree preferred.
MSc in Risk Management preferred.
Experience of option theory and Monte-Carlo simulation techniques.
Evidence of delivery of targets and ability to work in a pressurised environment.
Evidence of good structure and quantitative analytical approaches in tackling issues and tasks.
