Job Overview

To ensure that Wood Group Kennyís Quality and HSE Management Systems and project support activities are adequately maintained and implemented and resulting actions delivered effectively, whilst maintaining positive contacts with all those who contribute to the work results of the HSEQ function in Staines.

Roles & Responsibilities

The HSEQ Lead offers expert technical and management system knowledge and skills out of his discipline and generates and promotes a positive Quality and HSE culture. This represents a key role in co-managing business related risks in the organisation.

The HSEQ Lead is responsible for ensuring that all Quality and HSE Management System documentation is up-to-date and policies and practices are adopted. He/She helps to plan, implement, monitor and review the HSEQ management systems and all related corrective and preventive measures. The HSEQ Lead ensures that the Management System certification that WGK requires and has chosen to follow remains operational.

He/she supports the organisationís aim to avoid operational losses, minimise brand protection issues and to assure continued process capability to its clients. The HSEQ Lead deputises for the Corporate HSEQ Manager in his absence.

Experience Required

  • Experience of working in and managing a Quality and HSE Management system environment
  • Hands-on experience with (project) steel fabricating, offshore pipelaying, heavy lifting and /or subsea installation work is required
  • Experience with internal and external audits and third party certification.
  • Experience with Risk based management and knowledge of risk analyses techniques.
