To identify and execute work for the Company in specified projects and technology areas in a manner, which fully meets the Clients' objectives and maximises the profit for J P Kenny Caledonia.
The Project Manager shall:Take full technical and commercial responsibility for the execution of projects assigned by the General Manager in all matters that are covered within the terms of the contract (from initial Contract Review to Project Close Out); Determine the objectives for the project team and to communicate these to the team; Establish and implement all necessary project plans and procedures as required by the Quality Management System; Identify and agree the assignment of resources required for successful execution of the project in a timely and planned manner with the General Manager / Operations Director / Business Managers Organise the project team and to motivate its members towards successful achievement of specified goals, particularly through regular project meetings, delegate work to the project team members via the Project Engineer in a manner that encourages individual responsibility and to authorise actions on specified work packages; Control the progress and cost of the project through continuous review of project reports. Where adverse trends or deviations occur, to consider alternative solutions, make decisions, communicate these to the client, project and Company personnel, and follow up to ensure the decision is implemented; Take full responsibility for the correctness and quality of all technical work executed as part of the project by personnel involvement and by coordinating input of Company's technical expertise; Prepare brief summary reports and workload projections for the Engineering Manager(s) of project status and problem areas; Provide assistance to Accounting Support Services in the preparation of all invoices and to liaise with the Client to ensure timely payment through to and including release of retentions; Ensure orderly close-out of the project, obtain final certificates from the client, ensure that all project documentation is archived and prepare all close-out documentation, including project résumés; Supervise the preparation of manhour estimates and deliverables for bids and new work and undertake other management functions as required by the Engineering Manager. Any other duties as required
The Project Manager shall ensure that they comply with the Company HSE & QMS Policy. It should be noted that each person has a responsibility for the safety and quality aspects of the work that they undertake. Any questions or concerns relating to HSE and/or the QMS should be brought to the attention of the Engineering Manager.

Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical/Subsea) with all round experience in Subsea, Project Management, Design Contractor or relevant Contracting Company;Should also possess: Offshore Survival & Medical, basic computer skills, good organisational skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, project management skills, team working and leadership skills, people management skills, effective negotiation skills, Commercial and Contract Awareness
